Can you get tetanus from old metal coat hangers?

I was took apart a metal coat hanger and was twisting it to break a part of it off and I scraped my finger. The coat hanger is old and a tiny bit rusted. The cut is small but it is really rough. I washed it out, but do I have to worry about tetanus? I was taking apart* Sorry. I should re-read what I type.

1. You should update your tetanus shot if you haven't had one recently. (like maybe last 7 years I hear). But I just cut my finger on glass and had to get a shot, to be on the safe side. My dad cut his finger inserting a key into a door. He didn't go to the doctor for a few days. He started getting sick and then went. They told him if he hadn't come in when he did, he would be dead. So it is a very serious disease to get! No matter how small the cut, it can still cause it.
